Why the African Fish Eagle

The Eagle is the symbol of John the Baptist.  It speaks of the ability of a Prophet to soar in the Spirit of God and see things that are far off.

In Africa, the Fish Eagle is found around bodies of freshwater throughout sub-Saharan Africa.   It has the ability to soar to great heights, and  then swoop down and pluck a fish from the water - seemingly effortlessly.  Good prophecy sounds effortless - but of course it is not!

The African Fish Eagle is a fitting symbol of the African prophetic movement.  God has called us to see far - and be fishers of men

Why AfricaProphecy

God is restoring the gift of Prophecy and the office of the Prophet to his church worldwide.   Not just in wealthy Western Nations, but in Africa too.  Since 1999 I have been  to see a little of what God has done - and what he continues to do throughout Africa.   It's time to let the world know that God's Prophets are alive and well in the African church!
